Jane Austin, Equine Acupressure Practitioner
Jane began Equine Bodywork about 9 years ago. Jane had a long career as a horse trainer. She was a AQHA Professional Trainer, Instructor and Coach. Jane specialized in training AQHA all around horses. In order to compete at the level Jane was competing at she used the best Farriers, Veterinarians, and Chiropractors she could find. It was hard work to keep the horses competing at this high of a level. She realized when the horses were not performing right they were sore. But the trick was trying to figure out where they were sore and what could be done to help.
She became certified to do Equine Bodywork. And when she found the Tallgrass Equine Acupressure Institute she planned on taking one course. But she saw such an improvement in the horses she was working on she knew she needed to become a Certified Acupressure Practitioner. Jane does Equine Bodywork on show horses, race horses, trail horses and even mules.

My name is Kendra McMillan. I have a life-long love for all animals. But back in the 80's when I went to college there were few careers with animals aside from Veterinarians and Vet Technicians. So as an adult I contented myself by filling my house with cats and eventually buying my horse Espirita. I discovered Animal Acupressure through a women who performed acupressure and massage on Espirita and that was next path on my journey through life.
I have received benefit from various kinds of touch therapy for years and was excited to know it was possible for me learn acupressure and help animals. Touch therapies have helped me with pain when the medical community could only offer medications or suggest it was 'all in my head'. I look forward to broadening my expertise so I can further help our companion animals on their journey through life with us.
