Policies and Procedures

The Policies and Procedures of Tallgrass North America Animal Acupressure (TNA) are presented on this page for your convenience. If you have any questions, please contact us directly. Tallgrass North America reserves the right to revise and/or amend its Policies and Procedures at any time and without notice.

General Admission Requirements:
Students must have an eagerness to learn and be disciplined to do self-study.
Completion of course work does not include the right to diagnose or treat any conditions. Students are expected to know and to abide by all provincial/territorial and federal laws.

Completion occurs at the end of the program where each student that has satisfied the requirements and received a passing grade of 90% will be presented with a Certificate of Completion.

The number of course participants is limited based on space. The number of students per course will range between 12-20, with additional Instructors or Assistants attending as needed.

All Introductory classes are to be paid in advance and in full. A $300 deposit is required for the 4-day Hands On Meridians & Specific Conditions course, the balance of that course payment is due eight (8) weeks prior to class. Payment in full will be required by this date if you wish to retain your spot in the class.

Students may withdraw from any hands-on or online course at any time.

If a student withdraws from a hands-on class, there are several options. Course fees, less a $50 administrative fee per course, may be refunded, transferred to an online course, or be held for a future hands-on course. If the request for withdrawal or refund is within 2 weeks of the hands on class, no refund is available. If your tuition is held for a future scheduled class, and you try to withdraw from that class, no refund is available.

Students may withdraw from any online course, at any time, however no transfer or refund is available. Because online course content is instantly available to the Registered User, course fees are non-refundable. The online course are hosted on a Cloud platform, so compatibility issues are non-existent.

In accordance with applicable laws, Tallgrass North America reserves the right to withdraw any student from any course enrolment and/or refuse any future enrolment at TNA for any reason deemed appropriate, including but not limited to excessive tardiness or absences, disruptive or offensive behaviour, non-compliance with TNA rules, policies and procedures, or non-payment of any account charges. Fees are not refundable in the event TNA withdraws any student from any course.

Participants in the Tallgrass Program are welcome to submit letters or certificates of completion in other areas of complementary medicine from other educational programs. Participants who have completed extensive studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine, massage, essential oils, Reiki, kinesiology, TTouch, homeopathy, etc. will receive the 20 Learning Units upon demonstration of successful completion.  Our purpose in requiring electives is to add to participants’ knowledge base. The more you know, the better you can serve animals. Rarely does any single modality stand alone. It is best to have many resources available.
