COVID 19 Protocol

COVID-19 Protocol for Hands on Courses

Tallgrass Animal Acupressure North America is closely monitoring the COVID-19 rates and changes. Hands-on training is tentatively planned to continue in October 2021, but if the COVID-19 situation makes it unsafe for travel and workshops, we will postpone hands-on workshops. Any payments made for hands-on trainings that are postponed will be applied to future hands-on training, online courses of your choice, or refunded to you.

For hands-on training, we will follow these guidelines:

Our goal for workshops is to provide you with an excellent hands-on experience while also ensuring the safety of everyone sharing the same space. Until further notice, our safety policy for in-class hand-on workshops is as follows:

  • Class sizes will be kept small (6-8 students) so that we can maintain a safe distance from each other during lectures and hands-on demonstrations and work time.

  • Through the entire hands-on training, you'll be required to wear a mask. We will sanitize hands before and after each hands-on experience. There will be no exceptions to wearing a mask.

  • If possible, all hands-on work sessions will take place in outdoor spaces.

  • Hand sanitizers and regular hand washing will be required throughout each day.

  • Surfaces, knobs, and switches will be cleaned regularly with disinfectant.

  • If you have registered for a workshop but are feeling unwell before the first day, we ask that you postpone until the next time we offer the class.

  • If you have been recently exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID (within 3 weeks of the first day of your desired workshop), we ask that you postpone until the next time we offer the class.
